Saturday was Brodie and Shanna's wedding day. We had the pleasure of being there with all of the other family and friends. In spite of the rainy start to the day, everything worked out well. The day started with Marilyn nudging me at 5:03 a.m. to look out the window of our room. I was asleep at the time but when I saw the orange glow through the curtains, I did get up. It was just sunrise and we looked out over the South Saskatchewan River and the Bessborough Hotel which is a refurbished CN hotel.
